As AI adoption accelerates, the risks of IP theft, corporate espionage, and cross-border data exposure are intensifying. This session will feature FBI Special Agent Nicholas Shenkin and Doug Mandell, General Counsel at Inflection AI. Drawing from both law enforcement and in-house perspectives, the duo will explore how GCs can safeguard their companies against today’s most pressing data and security threats.
Through interactive discussion, we will:
- Examine emerging risks of IP theft and corporate espionage for tech and AI companies
- Break down what GCs need to know about foreign investment, CFIUS scrutiny, and cross-border deal risks
- Discuss insider threats, deepfakes, and enhanced phishing scams targeting corporate data
- Share practical strategies for collaboration between legal, security, and business teams to strengthen enterprise defenses
