Privilege for In-House Counsel: Existing Concepts and AI Implications
Â
Attorney-client privilege has always required in-house legal teams to navigate nuanced questions around who is communicating, in what capacity, and for what purpose. As generative AI becomes embedded in day-to-day legal and business workflows, those longstanding considerations are taking on new complexity.
Join Paul Hastings and an in-house legal leader for a practical discussion on privilege in the corporate environment, including how established privilege principles apply to modern communications and workflows, where the use of generative AI may introduce new risks, and what legal teams should be considering as AI becomes increasingly integrated into their work. The conversation will explore emerging legal and ethical considerations, practical scenarios, and steps in-house counsel can take to help preserve privilege while using AI responsibly.
